Reconnect with Your Body’s Wisdom Through Movement, Art, Story
May 17-19, 2019
@ 7th Street Cottage in Gearhart, Oregon
Join us on the gorgeous Oregon coast for a weekend of body-mindful creativity, community, and ceremony!
Workshop Overview

Radical Embodiment is a way back from the edge of the broken crazy world into an inner space of trust and healing: back into our human-animal bodies and into the magic and the joy, the pain and the wonder of being alive, right here, right now.
This weekend workshop is an invitation to explore, play, and reconnect with the deep wisdom of our bodies through three powerful healing modalities: movement, art-making, and storytelling.
Working together and independently, we will excavate the stories we carry in our bones and our flesh: transmuting the old stories that are keeping us stuck in old patterns and outworn ways into powerful new stories and new ways of being in our bodies, with each other, and in the world.
Friday, 2 pm – 8 pm
We will begin Friday afternoon with a dedication ceremony and a conversation with Jennifer Langdon. A hosted dinner will be followed by a restorative yoga session with Nicole Bales and a crystal bowl sound healing with Fawn DeViney.
Saturday, 9 am – 4 pm
In Saturday’s workshop with Jennifer, we will take a deep dive together, exploring a variety of practices and activities to help us access the wisdom of our bodies, our creativity and the mysteries of the world(s) we inhabit:
- a qi gong-inspired chakra visualizing and activating practice
- a sensory walking meditation at the edge of land and sea
- a hands-on creative project: a hand-bound journal that you will design and sew by hand, and use throughout the workshop
- a writing workshop/playgroup, using prose, poetry, wordplay and the framework of The Heroine’s Journey to translate the insights of the body back into words: truths we can live by.
Sunday, 10 am – 12 pm
On Sunday morning, we will gather to share our dreamwork-homework, followed by a closing ceremony.

Workshop Fee of $250, includes:
